FlixBus' One Year Anniversary in India
Entering India unlocked the market and helped the company's innovation globally.

Flix’ entry into India did not only unlock a large market. It helped innovate the company’s tech and product. A prime example for the Indo-German potential.
India has momentum and Flix just celebrated its first anniversary in the soon to be 3rd largest global economy (congratulations team Flix!). In his celebration post, Flix’ Founder and CEO André Schwämmlein shared the following:
“We have learned so much from being in India already. The Indian market, and its tech-savvy customers has also meant that we have innovated our tech and product on a global scale to keep up with their expectations.”
A clear testament that many other German and European businesses can learn from. And US tech has been doing for over 2 decades.
Why?
The opportunities are large. Indian GCCs (Global Capability Centers) enable innovation and help global businesses to
▶ Access a vast pool of engineering talent
▶ Tap into India's rapidly growing economy
▶ Create international synergies and foster partnerships
As India is set to become the world's third-largest economy, it offers multifaceted opportunities. Business leaders should and will capitalize on this growth.
