The 5 biggest solar markets continue growing. And India entered the Top 3.

Recent data from Ember reveals that global solar adoption is not only meeting but exceeding already optimistic projections. Among these developments, India's remarkable progress stands out:

▶ Growth (year to date vs. 2023): +77%
▶ Target installation: 23 GW
▶ Global ranking: Now the 3rd largest market for solar additions, following China and the US

With India’s trajectory to become the 3rd largest economy globally and the large gap between India and the top two solar markets, its solar sector incl. on-site solar shows immense potential for continued exponential growth.

I think that the growing adoption of solar energy promises substantial benefits for India’s society, including improved energy access, reduced pollution, and economic opportunities.
